WaterFest By The Bay

WaterFest? What the hell is that? I don't watch TV or listen to the radio & seldom read the papers. Heard about WaterFest only 1 day before the event coz Melly's school mates invited us to join them. Was supposed to meet up the next day(Saturday, 25th Aug) at 9.30 am. Of course we were late lah! Who the hell wanna wake up so bloody early on a weekend?!? After meeting up with Melly's school mates, we walked from City Hall MRT station & reached Marina Bay before the event was even started. Event start at 11 am & we were too early! We should have sleep a little longer! Humph!

First thing we wanna do is to try out the banana boat. As we arrived early, we had to wait for the boat crews to get ready. It was a very hot day, hot enough to fry eggs on the ground! When the light rain came in the afternoon, we could see rainwater turning into steam when it hit the ground! We slapped on layers & layers of sun block, but still ended up looking like boiled lobster by afternoon! Get Wet, the signboard said. Yeah, right... we wore bikini under our shorts/singlet in anticipation, eager to show off our sexy bodies & the only time we get wet was when it rain in the afternoon! Melly's school mates did get totally wet though, when they purposely capsized their banana boat. =P

Banana Boats

Looking cool in life jackets

When our turn came to ride the banana boat, Melly & me were left behind as there's not enough seat. Suddenly, came the call "Who want to try out Jet Ski?" Woooot... yes, jet ski! I always wanna try out a jet ski! Imagine our disappointment when we discovered that we're not allowed to actually control a jet ski. It's pillion only. Dammit! No fun at all! =(

We are leaving on a jet ski...

After the jet ski, banana boat seem no thrill at all. Forgoing that, we wandered over to those air-filled balloon playgrounds.

Playgirls @ Playground =P

It was early with not much people around. So we started to behave like a couple of little silly girls doing monkey stunts. =P

Sliding, rolling, riding, jumping, going crazy...

Didn't actually know what events were being held. It's all water sports. Saw dragon boats, sailing boats, racing Jet Ski, water skiing team from China & cable-towed wake boarding. We were hoping to get our itchy little hands on a jet ski, so we asked some of those Jet Ski racers whether they can let us try out their machine, but they just wanna date us instead! Bloody buayas!

Slow & fast boats

Water skiers from China & competing wake boarder

After a hot & exhausting day, we went to Beach Road Hawker Center to try out AngMo Desserts which Melly discovered. This hawker stall is unlike others. It is really opened by an angmo(hence the name) with a Singaporean partner. I believe they have the best deco for a hawker stall. Just look at those wood panels on their walls! Seem they are quite well known & popular as there's a long queue at the stall. We ordered their special, Royal Claypot Fondue. At $14.80, it comes with waffles, fruits, marshmallows, chocolate dip in a claypot & 2 types of homemade ice-creams.

What a yummy meal to end a delicious day! A fun-filled & sexciting day with my love, my beautiful darling Melly! We may look like boiled lobsters at the end & made fun at each other fried looks, but we're a pair of love-sick lobsters. Eat your heart out, guys. Hehehee... =P

CosPlay Matsuri

It really does seem like my blog is becoming a cos-playing blog. Heehee...
Bear with me, ok? New found hobby & all that, you know? =P Went to another cos-play event last Saturday(11th July). A small event held at Cineleisure. Small, but with good turn-out of cos-players & I like to express my heartfelt thanks to all who posed for or with me.

Me at CosPlay Matsuri

The event location

And of course at these type of events, plenty of pretty girls all around. Good thing I like to ogle at pretty girls. Well... many guys around there too. What do you expect when there're honey? =P

Yummy Beauties

And among the beauties, surely will have beasts =P

Cutie

Choose your suffering! Black magic, knifes or the needle?

Inevitably, when there're pretty girls around, guys will definitely be asking for trouble, jumping in without knowing the consequence.

"Will you be my love?"

"And you'll be my puppet!"

There're some performance on stage, some sort of dance performed by cos-players, but I'm more interested in what's happening on the floor.

Cos-play dance?

What do you get when you put people with weapons together? Swords flashed & crashed to settle differences in opinions. Have you ever see a Coke bottle stop a blow from a sword? Really pure magic, I tell you! =P

The Fights

Not a bad thing as I got myself a trophy out of the fighting... =P

A fox head for my wall!

And now back to the stage to settle another kind of issue... choosing the winner of the event.

And the winner goes to...

No, not me. The winner is the pretty girl on my right. =P

Not many understand why people do cos-play. On Earth, there're many walks of life in human. In my opinion, it's best to learn as much as possible about others, whether interested or not. Knowledge is endless & armed with more knowledge, there will be much more understanding & tolerance among humans. Ignorant is not bliss. It's a crime against others. Too many people don't understand this & that's why our world is so fuck-up. Many condemned others without having knowledge of certain matters. Just do it coz others do so? Fools & idiots! How did the saying goes? "The most common elements in this universe are hydrogen & human stupidity!"

What will you think if a girl walks around with a mask at the back of her head or a guy keep showing you his bunny?

Take a look at the shock or puzzled face of a passerby. =P

Anyway, this is also the day which I get to meet up & have a long chat with an old friend of mine. An ex-school mate who went aboard to study & she's now back. Oh, my dear love, I miss you so much! Now that we're back together, I'm not letting you go, my lovely deer. You are mine forever! =P

My lovely dear & me

Ain't she pretty? =P

We went shopping the next day & something happened that pull us closer together. Something very important, but I'm not going to put down those juicy details here. It's for me to know & for you to guess. Nope, and don't anyhow assume, you dirty-minded people! LOL! =P

CosCon/WCG, Photo Shoot & Buskers

Saturday:
Went to WCG(World Cyber Game) at Suntec City after work. Me gaming? Noooo... I was there for CosCon which was held in conjunction with WCG. Reached there about 2+ pm. Went into the gaming area to take a brief look around. Really a quick look as not much to interest me there.

WCG 2007

Where the cyber actions take place

Onlookers can see who is pwning who on screens

Gamers trying out new games or devices

I'm not much of a gamer. The only few games I play online are TacOps, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2 & Battleships(a Warcraft mod). Other than these, I don't have much interest in computer games or know much about them. The only thing that interest me at WCG is this cool armor suit.

Where can I get one of this for myself? =P

With that done with virtual gaming, let’s go where the real action is, CosCon!

Register here! And many cos-players came...

They came in all sorts of anime/movie characters, wonderful & colorful. And again, I went crazily posing with them... =P

Beautiful & bountiful maiden

Cutie pies, tough SWAT lady & mysterious weapon dealer

Crazy TVman, a lovely queen, common soldier aiming for a sexy fighter

Killing you with love, sword, guns, dynamites & erm... record disk & mushroom?

Peace to the world... but keep a handy tennis racket or sword around in case a lustful TVman comes around. =P

Cos-players screaming for attention & that includes me too! =P

Dancing & Photography

Everyone there had fun doing what they love most. Me? I had an adventure & the story goes like this...

On a dark & stormy night(isn't that what they always use to begin a horror story?), I was abducted & sexually assault by aliens

Later, forced into slavery as a show girl, a fate worse than death coz have to entertain lechers who come around asking stupid questions & posing for their camera

Till 2 handsome Jedi Knights rescued me thinking I'm Princess Leia or Padmé Amidala & later, one of them fall in love with me(Didn't you notice his hand round my waist?)

With Jedi training, I help uncovered a terrorist plot to bomb a cos-play event & with the help of a SWAT team, shot dead the suicide bomber before he can complete his mission

End of tale. You may or may not believe my story, but I'm sure those aliens done something to my mind making it go haywire. =P

Seem to me my blog had became a cos-playing blog. Hahaha... Think I have a sorta new hobby... watching cos-play event. After seeing a number of good cos-players, I think I'm in love with them... oh well... a fan at least. This coming Saturday, 11th of Aug, there will be another cos-play event going on at Cineleisure & Yay! I'll be going! Cya there! =P

Note: Heartfelt thanks go out to those wonderful cos-players who posed with or for me. You all are great!

Sunday:
Oh... I didn't said I'm a part time model, did I? Well... model only for photography, but not runway coz I'm too short. Anyway, went for a 2 hours outdoor photo shoot. Was a hot day & I sweat like a pig! Brought 3 outfits, but ending up using only 2 coz ran out of time. Normally, the rights of photos belong to the photographer since they paid for it, but usually, they give me a few good ones. Every time, when pics arrived, I'd this silly phobia about looking at them. I'm afraid I will fail at my assignment. I always asked a professional friend to look at them first & comment. Seems my fear is baseless, as it turns out so many times, this photographer is great. Very skillful with nice composition. I love his pics of me!

Photo session

I'm a saucy school girl! =P

Don’t cha wish your girlfriend is hot like me?" =P

Note: All pics are by Mr. Chew of ImagineStudio.
Higher resolution pics are in my album thanks to Mr. Chew.

After the photo shoot, walked to The Central where two buskers were performing on unicycle. Turned out to be a father & daughter team.

Buskers entertaining the crowd.

Playing music, balls juggling/throwing with me joining in the fun

Has a chat with the daughter. She's 15 & a mix. Her busking father is a Caucasian & mother, a Malay. Father does busking for fun & loving it. He plays the saxophone & does a trick by playing recorder with his nose! And OMG! His full-time job is a lecturer! These people really know how to make full use of their enjoyment & life by earning some extra cash. My respect goes to them.

Father & daughter busking team with me

What a busy & wonderful weekend. My only complain is my legs still hurt from all those exercise! =P
